We require someone who can own and handle Chubb European A&H (Accident and Health) claims received within standard personal settlement authority limits, whilst providing support and achieving self-development by assisting on Chubb European defined ‘complex’ claims, completing specific activities within Service Level Agreements.
You’ll be joining a team of 6 Claims professionals within our Istanbul office and will be guided by a vastly experienced and engaging group of colleagues.
- Accurately assess and evaluate policy liability, calculate reserves and settlement values of ‘non-complex’ claims within allocated workload.
- Develop knowledge and personal competencies to include claims from A&H and bodily injury claims.
- Provide support to Claims Manager by accurately completing, under the direction of the manager, specific duties on ‘complex’ claims.
- Meet requirements of specific schemes allocated to individual team to ensure client satisfaction and business retention.
- Manage own correspondence effectively and efficiently.
- Provide general assistance and support to department, colleagues and managers including projects and ad-hoc tasks as they arise.
- Work within the framework of Chubb ethical and service standards and fulfill compliance and regulatory requirements.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Previous Claims Handling experience
- Competent in Microsoft Office.
- Medium level English knowledge.
- To have sound understanding of the insurance/ reinsurance market.
- Continues to develop technical and broader business skills.
- Solid experience of claims handling in a company, loss adjuster or insurance broker environment. Ability to acquire new IT skills.
